The place

Landscape and character

Woodinville is built around the Sammamish Valley, where farmland is protected and dozens of wineries and tasting rooms have gathered, including Chateau Ste. Michelle. The town itself is compact. Around it, the hills hold large lots, horse properties and forest, much of it in unincorporated King County.

Homes

What you find here

Inside the city, neighborhoods from the 1970s to the 2000s mix with new apartments near downtown. Outside city limits, on Hollywood Hill and toward Cottage Lake, properties are larger, often on wells and septic systems, and zoned to keep a rural character.
